The members of Hissom Tabernacle Church The Nazarene would like for visitors to come and make Hissom their home. Here are the answers to a few of the questions you may have on your mind…

The way teenagers are accepted and allowed to serve at church.

The freedom to worship in the spirit. To participate in multiple areas of service.

I like being a part of the family of God. We can all use our unique gifts!

Question two: Why should someone come to visit Hissom tabernacle?
What people are saying….
To experience unconditional love, to worship in the beauty of holiness, to experience church in the most loving, humble, and simplest way; and to be fed spiritually as well as physically.

Scripture tells us to come together and reason them with one another. Everyone has the opportunity to put in their remarks and ask questions. Classes and worship service is truly a great experience. Everyone gets closer to Jesus Christ.

Question 3: Why do I stay at Hissom Tabernacle?
What people are saying….
Some might say I came only because my husband‘s grandfather founded the church and my husband Pastor here. Partly true, but not the whole truth.
I came because God called me to mission work as a teenager and this church provided an opportunity for me to feel that call.
I stay, because the folks here are sweet, humble, loyal, excepting, kind, and generous. Most importantly, the Bible and holiness are preached, there is no pretension, what you see is what you get. When I saw, holiness unto the Lord, as the sign hanging above the platform.
Pastor Bonnie Hissom (Elder)

I stay at Hissom Tabernacle, because they do the will of God here. We see people in need and pray. God always provides!
Paul Nester

I stay at Hissom Tabernacle Church The Nazarene, because God called me back home. I lived in Washington DC for 40 years. I enjoy being home and worshiping in the house of the Lord.
John Johnson
I found a home here at Hissom Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene, partly because Pastor Jessica is my daughter. I love that God carved her out a place to serve. My family is not broken, because we can serve God, here on earth, together. Being in service with your grand children and children is very important! If you’re looking for a home church this is the place to be. We learn about Jesus and enjoy doing it as a team.
Mrs. Becky Moore-Stinson
Hissom Tabernacle is a place filled with peace, love, enjoy. this church allows people to use their gifts. They allow me to serve in the food pantry and feeding the homeless.
